Entry 2 : Semiotics vs ‘ism’

What topic should I pick ?!!  1.     Compare and contrast modern and postmodern design. Should designers favor one? 2.   Conduct a semiotic analysis on a piece of political propaganda using any of the set of concepts. These two topics are entirely different form of interest and attention to the viewers of this blog. In order to select a favorable topic to my liking, research is needed. Entry 1: Analysis and exploration of essay questions.

Before choosing a preferred topic, analysis and exploration of the questions is needed to determined. 1.  Review and discuss the key ideas in a major publication written by a thinker or theorist in the field of media. Relate the ideas to current news events or design developments. This essay question is to mainly discuss about the ideas of current events or design elements/ development by major publications.
